Bouygues Group history

In 1952, Francis Bouygues founds Enterprise Francis Bouygues, a Paris based company specialising in industrial works and construction.
In 1988, The Group moves into the new Head Office, Challenger in Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines.
In 1989, Martin Bouygues is appointed Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
In 1999, Bouygues Construction is created and the portfolio of work from the Bouygues Group has been growing ever since.

Created in 1952, the Bouygues Group now has operations in over 80 countries, and a strong and distinctive company philosophy.
