Bouygues UK received a commendation in the ‘Best Education Builder of the Year’ category at the Education Investor awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 17 November 2011.  Representatives of Bouygues UK were proud to have earned this award, with the judges being particularly impressed by the company’s commitment to CSR.

One judge said:

“Whilst delivering 14 new schools over the period under consideration, Bouygues has delivered an effective corporate social responsibility programme involving schools and young people.”

The company has been delivering high quality educational environments in the UK since 2005 when Jo Richardson Community School and Eastbury School in Barking & Dagenham were successfully handed over.  Since then, Bouygues UK has continued to build on its education portfolio throughout London and beyond in Peterborough and in the boroughs of Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, Westminster and Waltham Forest.

Bouygues UK Managing Director Lionel Christolomme said:

“It is always rewarding to be recognised for our achievements in delivering innovative education spaces and we are very proud to have received a commendation from the judges for our work in the sector.”
