Our sister company BYME, the specialised mechanical, engineering and plumbing (MEP) subsidiary of Dragages Hong Kong, played a critical role in the transformation of Hong Kong’s historic Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

BYME conducted the renovation of all technical equipments in the 502-room luxury hotel, which was built in 1963 and remains an iconic Hong Kong hotel today. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electricity, fire protection and plumbing elements were fully updated during the renovation.

Implementing an innovative construction concept, BYME installed prefabricated, preassembled materials in building risers, and ensured the hotel’s sleek modern interiors incorporated contemporary luxuries and thoughtful ingenuities for the hotel’s business and leisure clientele.
