“In March 2020 we launched our 2025 Diversity Strategy. Our goal is for 35% of our leadership positions to be occupied by women and 15% of leadership positions to be occupied by people from an ethnic minority by 2025.
This year, in order to be as transparent as possible we are reporting both our Gender Pay Gap statistics and, for the first time, our Ethnicity statistics, for all the Bouygues Construction entities operating in the United Kingdom. We will continue to report and review both sets of figures every year.
At Bouygues Construction we are committed to meeting our 2025 diversity objectives and we are fortunate to have a number of employee-led diversity networks which work closely with our business leaders to drive change forward.
2020 has been a challenging year and the Covid-19 pandemic has had a disproportionate impact on women and ethnic minority groups. While the full effects are not yet known, what is clear is that we must work even harder to attract and retain the best talent and to champion inclusive policies that support women, ethnic minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with different abilities and underrepresented groups.”
