Bringing festive cheer to our communities
This Christmas, we’re proud that our teams have once again gone above and beyond to support the communities we work in across the country. From supporting children and families to tackling homelessness, food poverty and loneliness, our social value initiatives reflect our shared commitment to making a positive and lasting impact.
Supporting Children and Young People
We enjoyed supporting Save the Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ on Thursday, 11 December. Through generous donations and collective participation, we raised funds while reinforcing our commitment to supporting charitable and community initiatives.

Our Southwest & Wales team has been donating selection boxes to Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice for their Santa’s Grotto. Tŷ Hafan provides care and support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions, helping them live life to the fullest and supporting families through end-of-life and bereavement care.
At Stanmore College, our team supported Grange Primary School to ensure every pupil received a Christmas present. The school, which has the highest number of pupils in Harrow receiving free school meals, ran an appeal in partnership with Harrow Police. Together with our subcontractor, KKMG, we collected toys, books and games which were delivered directly to the school.

Supporting Homelessness and Care-Experienced Young People
We are re-gifting Christmas presents from subcontractors to the Single Homeless Project (SHP) where they will contribute to residents’ Christmas meals.
In Wales, teams organised donations for Llamau, a charity supporting young people, women, and children at risk of or experiencing homelessness. We also supported the Cardiff Christmas Dinner initiative, a volunteer-led project providing a free Christmas Day event for care-experienced young people who might otherwise spend the day alone. The initiative offers a warm meal, gifts, transport, and a sense of community, helping to combat loneliness during the festive season.
Supporting Local Food Projects and Food Banks
Our Oriel team continues to support Camden Foodbank through the donation of non-perishable food items and by volunteering their time to support its operations. Colleagues worked alongside foodbank staff to help sort and distribute donations, contributing directly to the delivery of vital support for individuals and families in the local community.
“Thank you for your continued support; it’s greatly appreciated”
Abi Odujoko, Project Manager Camden Foodbank

In Exeter, our team is funding the Beacon Heath Christmas Food Project, enabling volunteers to cook a festive meal for 40 residents experiencing food poverty. We are also supporting St. James School by donating towards their Christmas meal for families facing hardship and vulnerable community members, extending support to other local schools as well. In addition to funding, Bouygues UK staff will volunteer to help prepare and serve food, spreading Christmas cheer.
Supporting the Elderly and Those Living with Illnesses
Our team at ADC was delighted to provide a Christmas tree for neighbours at Charlotte House Care Home. The tree became the centrepiece of an afternoon of celebrations, including a Nativity performance by staff and carol singing before the lights were switched on.
“We are so grateful for our Christmas tree, it’s lovely”
Teresa Smith, Manager
We also held a bake sale in support of The Mulberry Centre’s ‘Hope Under the Tree’ campaign. The Mulberry Centre offers vital support services for people living with cancer and their families. Bouygues UK was involved in building the centre almost 25 years ago, making it especially meaningful to continue supporting its invaluable work.

Supporting Local Residents and Communities
The team at Tustin Estate organised a festive pantomime, bringing joy and entertainment to local residents.

At ADC, a second Christmas tree was provided for residents of Hepple Close. The 9-foot tree has been placed in the communal gardens for everyone to enjoy, with additional lights added to surrounding greenery to spread festive cheer throughout the close.
Meanwhile, our team at Hallsville Quarter 4 is sponsoring a Christmas tree for residents in partnership with Our Newham Works. Each site will welcome a visit from the Mayor, enjoy performances from a local community choir, and display decorations made by nearby primary schools, a wonderful way to bring communities together during the festive season.

A Collective Effort
These initiatives reflect the dedication, generosity, and community spirit of our people across the business. Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and kindness this Christmas — your efforts are making a real difference where it matters most.
