Opening the Door to the Next Generation of Construction Talent
The future of construction depends on the talent we nurture today. That’s why we’re committed to giving young people real opportunities to learn, grow, and experience the industry first-hand.
This year, we’re proud to welcome 26 new T-Level students for 2026 from across four partners schools, London Design & Engineering UTC– Newham, Stanmore College, Chelmsford College, and City Westminster College. Over the next 12 months, these students will rotate across four programmes and five placements, giving them exposure to the wide range of roles and departments in the construction industry.
The programme offers a genuine insight into the industry, combining time in our head office with experience on live project sites. Students will see how projects move from early planning and design through to delivery, while gaining a better understanding of the collaboration required to deliver complex construction projects.

Working in partnership with Paula and the team at Bouygues UK has been a fantastic experience. Their support throughout the Industry Placement programme has been invaluable, and the learner induction at their Head Office gave our students a real insight into the construction industry and the opportunities it offers.

During their placement, students will spend time both at our head office and across several live projects including Stanmore College, Rosedale College and Oriel, as well as within our Building Safety teams. This structure allows them to experience different aspects, from project coordination and design to on-site work delivery and safety management.
The aim is simple: to help students understand what a career in construction looks like. By working alongside our different teams, they gain practical knowledge that cannot be replicated in the classroom.

By the end of the programme, students would have developed not only technical knowledge but also the confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that are essential for a career in the industry.
Opening the door to hands-on learning is one of the most important ways we can support the future of our sector. The next generation of construction talent starts here and we’re proud to play a part in shaping it.
