What’s the most rewarding part of your job at Bouygues UK?
The most rewarding part of my job is being part of a wider picture, delivering healthcare and advanced medical technology to those who need it for many years to come. Working in construction also means seeing visible progress and achieving small wins every day, which is really rewarding.

What does “Building for life” mean to you?
As Environmental Champion at the Diagnostic Treatment and Education Centre, Building for Life means not only building to a high standard so the end product is safe and long-lasting, but also considering sustainability and ensuring the environmental impact of the project does not compromise the future.
How has Bouygues UK supported your development?
Bouygues UK has supported my development by providing mentors across different aspects of the project who are willing to share their practical knowledge and give me real hands-on experience. I’ve also been encouraged to step outside my comfort zone, take responsibility and trust in my abilities, without ever feeling unsupported.
How would you describe the culture to someone new joining?
As a young engineer, I’ve found the culture at Bouygues UK to be very inclusive, with a great mix of cultures, genders and ages. It’s also a very encouraging environment, with project teams often feeling more like a community. The support for young engineers, including opportunities for further education and training, creates a culture where people feel supported and never alone.
