Progress at Castle Park View

It has been just over two years since we started on site at Castle Park View, our landmark 26-storey residential tower in the centre of Bristol and we are very proud to be on track to deliver this high-quality housing scheme for the City of Bristol in 2022.

Designed by Chapman Taylor and with the support of Linkcity, M&G Investments, Homes England, Bristol City Council and Abri (formerly Yarlington Housing Group), this 322,000 square-foot regeneration scheme will provide a full mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes on the site of a former ambulance station. Once complete, the scheme will bring 375 crucially needed new homes to Bristol’s city centre with 75 of these being affordable apartments.

Our steady progress continues on all five blocks, having topped out in November 2020. The tower’s external envelope is also now complete making way for the six-metre castellations which will be installed over the next month.

All remaining blocks are now weathertight and due to commence brickwork and rendering. The Bristol City Council District Heating Network is now supplying heat to the project enabling the apartments to enter the final finishes phase with the first homes completing in late April 2021.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the site team and the wider project team for illustrating what can be achieved with a truly collaborative approach. Check out the video below to see some great footage of the project’s progression.
